There have been changes to IPMA’s transponder policy, including a lower price and the ability to have a vehicle mounted transponder installed on-site.  Here are the details of the new policy.

For Homeowners

Indian Palms has two options for automated access into the property through the four entry gates.  These options are available to all IPMA homeowners in good standing.

  1. Vehicle Mounted Transponders

Transponders must be installed on your vehicle by IPMA’s security team, which will require an appointment where you will present your vehicle at the Monroe gate.

  1. Mobile Phone App

Gate access is provided using an “app” on a qualified Apple or Android smartphone equipped with bluetooth technology.  Once the app is installed, it is initialized remotely and secure entry is achieved by using the phone’s bluetooth feature.

For Qualified Tenants

Qualified tenants of Indian Palms may obtain a transponder or mobile access credential as described above, as long as their lease and or rental information is registered with IPMA’s access management system.

Any tenant access device will be activated for the length of the rental agreement, but a period not to exceed one year.  Should the rental exceed one year, the credential will be renewed at no cost in one year increments at the request of the property landlord.  Property landlords must notify IPMA when a rental terminates.  The property landlord may instruct IPMA to deactivate any of their tenant’s credentials at any time.

How to Obtain a Transponder or Mobile Access Credential

The cost for either credential is $25 and must be paid by money order or check made payable to Indian Palms Master Association.  Homeowners may charge the fee to their IPMA account.

To obtain a transponder or mobile access credential, please download and complete the Transponder Application form and email it to Security@IndianPalmsMA.com or drop it off at the guardhouse.  You will then be contacted with installation instructions.
